WHAT IS YOUR WHY ?

Most people start there fitness journey in search of an aesthetically pleasing physique, once you’ve reached that point of achievement then what?

Truth is the transformation is only a small percentage of the training life, there will always be times in life where you are in a calorie surplus and times in a calorie deficit but there is so much more as to why exercise should be implemented into your lifestyle.

First image is me 5 years ago. No children to look after. No business to run. I could be selfish back then, training and fitness was solely for aesthetics purposes – to look good.

Second image, me training whilst pregnant with Jace all the way up to giving birth. Training had no relation to aesthetics here. I was getting bigger each week so why would I train? Physically I was getting bigger.

During pregnancy, it was to improve my mood, boost my energy, decrease the risk of complicated labour – C Section, Pre eclampsia. Quicker recovery rate postpartum.

Now? To switch off for 45 minutes. To energise myself & be more productive. To be in the best shape I can be for my family, job and health.

Training for aesthetics is a great reason to start but the benefits of training are so much deeper;

  • Reduced risk of osteoporosis
    *Increased bone density, strength, mobility
  • Help prevent cognitive decline in older people
  • Prevention of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases, artitis & Much more.
  • Improved mental wellbeing & self esteem.
  • Improved cardiovascular

On a realistic level exercise can help you be more active with your children, go swimming with them confidently, have a content mindset. Improve your physical and mental health.
